India’s governing body for pigeon racing

Indian Racing Pigeon Association

                  Welcome to the Indian Association

The main aim of this site is to honor our own racing birds of which very little is known internationally. Our fanciers are as enthusiastic as any other fancier in the world. Pigeon  racing in India goes back in centuries as early as  the 13th when it was only a sport of the kings to the present where we have fanciers from all walks of life in this much loved hobby of so many.

                                                 IRPA/IRPF

The IRPA/IRPF has we are so known is the governing body for pigeon racing in India

                                              Our Mission

To plan and execute programs designed to advance the Association and the sport

To hopefully bring the different clubs  under one Association and have a national winner like other countries.

To encourage national, state, and local legislation which may be beneficial to the sport and fanciers.

To maintain a policy of Home Rule.

For the development of information about the sport in the country and the rest of the world.
And most importantly this organization is dedicated to the humane treatment of the birds round which we have formed a common bond.

                             IMPORTANT NOTICE

It has been brought to our notice that some fanciers are using the Association/Federation name to make money for their own personal gain. We advice all our members and the general public to be aware of these fraudsters. We would also like to say that Mr. K. Palaniappan from day one was never associated with this Association.
